This June, Levassi travelled to Paris as the fashion industry returned to the French capital for another season of Paris Fashion Week, a few days of new collections, conversations and the relationships that continue to shape the industry beyond the runway.
Our time in the city included a private presentation with Scottish cashmere house Begg x Co, offering a closer look at the brand, its collections and the craftsmanship behind its approach to contemporary cashmere. Away from the pace of the wider week, the presentation created space for conversation and a more considered encounter with the house and its work.
For Levassi, Paris was as much about those conversations as the calendar itself. Fashion Week has always existed beyond the shows: in presentations, showrooms, appointments and the meetings taking place throughout the city. It is here that ideas are exchanged, relationships develop and much of what eventually reaches the wider industry begins to take shape.
